Client’s Brief
My first business name was Design with AJ. It exposed my initials as the logo mark. If revealed me but not my story.
For my second, and I hope definitive, business name, I wanted my logo to tell my story.

Concepts
The logo mark is a flower. Because it’s my story, my legacy. My grandfather was an artist and a sculptor. But to feed his family, he was often woodcarving.
So he decorated wardrobes and other wooden furniture. And for repetitive motives, he had several tools like metal stamps.
When he died, my grandmother had to sell all his tools. By mistake or by fate, the flower stamp survived the wholesale.
The family got to keep and pass on some of his sculptures. And both my grandmother and my mother told me his stories.
My Solution
So i used the only tool I inherited from him: his metal flower stamp. I adapted the shape of the flower’s heart to show an E-shaped number three. The letter E stands for energy and evolution. The 3 stands for three generations. Three is also balance.
In woodworking, you only need 3 points to support safely your work piece. This flower represents my family. The Breton word *janglenn* means jungle. Together they’re my origins, life force, and heritage.
I designed banners for LinkedIn and YouTube.
