Anne Jannier | Logo Designer at The Janglenn Studio
I’m Anne Jannier, a logo designer at heart.
I’ve founded The Janglenn Studio where I specialise in designing logos and visual identities with a story to tell. Your story.
Design runs in my family—my mother’s side boasts a legacy of creativity with sculptors, cabinetmakers, woodworkers, and experts in cabinet restoration and varnishing. I inherited that passion, but while they worked with wood, I first found my inspiration in stone. As a child, I sculpted soft stones, crafting figurines that sparked my imagination.
In my teenage years, my love for visual design deepened. My bad eyesight pushed me to study every detail of movie posters and advertisements, so I could recognise them from afar. This sharpened my eye for composition, colors, and branding, developing my unique ability to identify films and products by their visual cues alone.
I run my logo design business in Paris, France.
I can work with you in English and French.
Career Background
My professional career brought me a wide and rich viewpoint.
Trained as a physicist, my specialisation was in Physical Methods Applied to Remote Sensing and Detection. I worked in a lab until my PhD, driven by my passion for understanding.
I love the mechanics of things and am a keen observer.
Soon after, I switched to information technology.
For more than 20 years now, the web has been my playground:
- building it as a developer,
- strategising it as a UX consultant,
- organizing it as a project manager,
- writing it as a web designer and content writer,
- explaining and translating it as an information manager,
- designing websites and landing pages as a web designer.
I’m also a certified woodworker. However, I realised that nowadays it is more about machines and OSB panels than chisels and real wood.
I prefer using my hand tools.
What I love doing in my free time
- Whittling, especially animal figures
- Wandering off when I stroll through the streets of Paris or someplace else
- Contemplating Pompon’s pieces of sculpture
- Learning something new, about anything, each day
