Client’s Brief
This project is a passion-driven side hustle by a Paris-based snowboarder and blogger. It aims to provide practical advice for snowboarders who live far from the mountains, offering unique insights on travel tips, gear recommendations, and buying advice. The focus is on helping city-based snowboarders navigate the challenges of preparing for snowboarding trips without immediate access to mountain conditions.

Concepts
The goal was to create a brand identity that captures the contrast between urban life and snowboarding culture. The name “Snowboarder City” was chosen after thorough research to combine city vibes with snowboarding elements, ensuring strong SEO and relevance.
The logo reflects this contrast: stylized mountains symbolize snowboarding, while a C-shaped Eiffel Tower represents urban life, inspired by Paris. The typography was selected to further emphasize the duality, with “Snowboarder” mimicking slope curves and “City” featuring bold, straight lines. The word “City” was placed upside down to reinforce the dynamic nature of the brand.
My Solution
The client selected the fourth icon concept featuring a curved Eiffel Tower for its originality, paired with the first name concept for legibility.
To highlight contrast, the word “Snowboarder” uses a regular typeface, with “Snow” in bright blue, matching the mountain icon.
A coming soon page is live, visible on their blog site.
The channel art integrates elements representing both Paris and the mountains.
The project is ongoing, with the next steps focusing on designing the website and developing the YouTube channel.
