Logo Design
Client’s Brief
Bryan Kofsky and I met a couple months ago and when he asked what I thought of his logo, I had no choice but to expose its obvious flaws.
Don’t get me wrong though, I think the idea behind his logo is brilliant. The execution… not so much.
I told him so, as gently as possible.
But Bryan was willing and able to hear constructive critique. He’s a growth marketer and knows how much branding, and a logo, tells about you.
Taking on the project, I got to discover Bryan’s story and personal brand through a thorough questionnaire we debriefed together.
Concepts
The main challenge arose from the requirements Bryan set in his brief: his logo needed to incorporate both his initials and a hockey stick shape.
In addition to a refined version of his current logo, I chose to present him with several alternative concepts that I believe could set his business apart from the competition. For a few of these, I stepped away from the hockey stick constraint.
My Solution
In fine, though he considered at least one of the other concepts, he kept his own creation.
Only now, this refreshed version levels up his credibility and trust.
Testimonial
“I’m Bryan Kofsky, a growth marketer with 13 years of experience in lead generation and nurturing. While I’d designed my own logo, it wasn’t until I worked with Anne that I saw the real difference between DIY and professional design. Anne’s expertise brought clarity and value, even in the smallest details, like making sure the logo worked in monochrome.
The whole process was a pleasure. Anne took the time to understand my brand and offered thoughtful, creative ideas. The final result: a logo that truly reflects me. Beyond that, her attention to detail in organizing the files and providing a comprehensive logo guide was more than I expected.
Anne’s knowledge goes beyond design; she understands how branding ties everything together. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a logo or visual identity. I’m thrilled with the outcome, and everyone who’s seen the logo has been impressed. If you’re considering working with Anne, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to share more.”
