Client’s Brief
AnnMae is a special brand. It produces organic elderflower syrup that is distributed only to family and friends. This happens once every year when elderberries are blooming.
During the client interview, it was clear that the homemade and organically produced characteristics should be highlighted. Also, in addition to the front label, the founder wanted a back label to present the natural ingredients list.
My Solution
The green and brown colours help to highlight the organic nature of the product. Using real elderberries photos as illustrations serves the same purpose but also infers the homemade impression.
The elderflower in the centre allows identifying the product at first glance.
Two different elder leaves used as background for a script font enhances the homemade impression.
After printing and setting a few labels on bottles, the main text, “Fleurs de sureau SIROP”, was moved down to uncover the elderflower. Finally, the “100% NATUREL” box in red reminds us the product is organic.
